Discover Figaro's Pizza

Walking into Figaro's Pizza at 853 S Main St, Myrtle Creek, OR 97457, United States feels like stepping into a familiar neighborhood hangout where nobody’s in a rush and the food does the talking. I’ve stopped in here on road trips through Douglas County and also during busy weekday evenings, and the vibe stays consistent-casual, welcoming, and centered on getting solid food out fast without cutting corners. The location itself is easy to spot, with convenient parking and a layout that works just as well for families grabbing dinner as it does for solo diners picking up a quick slice.

The menu leans into what most people actually want when they’re craving pizza. Hand-tossed dough, generous layers of mozzarella, and sauces that strike a balance between tangy and slightly sweet. One staff member once explained their prep routine while I waited: dough is mixed fresh, portioned daily, and stretched by hand rather than pressed by machine. That detail shows up in the final product-the crust stays light inside with enough structure to hold toppings without collapsing. I’ve ordered everything from classic pepperoni to veggie-heavy combinations, and the consistency has been spot on every time.

What stands out is how customizable everything is. The build-your-own options make it easy to dial in exactly what you want, which matters more than people realize. According to National Restaurant Association data, over 60 percent of diners say customization is a key factor in repeat visits, and this place clearly understands that. Gluten-sensitive guests aren’t left out either, with alternative crust options that don’t feel like an afterthought. Salads, breadsticks, and sides round out the menu, making it simple to feed mixed appetites without juggling multiple restaurants.

I’ve also paid attention to online reviews over the years, especially after recommending the place to friends. The common themes are quick service, friendly staff, and reliable quality. A local teacher I chatted with during one visit said she orders here after school events because large group orders are handled accurately and on time. That lines up with my own experience; even during peak hours, orders come out correct, which is no small feat in a busy diner-style setup.

There’s real-world food science behind why this style works. Studies from the USDA on cheese melt and moisture retention show that whole-milk mozzarella, when baked at consistent high temperatures, creates better stretch and flavor release. You can taste that attention to temperature control here, especially in how evenly the pies are baked. The ovens are calibrated for steady output, not flashy speed, and it pays off in texture and flavor.

The Myrtle Creek location benefits from being part of a wider network, but it doesn’t feel generic. Each visit reflects local habits, from the most popular toppings to the way staff greet regulars by name. That balance between a proven system and local personality builds trust, especially for travelers who rely on recognizable spots without wanting something bland. Transparency is another plus-nutritional information and ingredient lists are available on request, which matters for families managing allergies or dietary limits.

No restaurant is perfect, and seating can feel tight during Friday rushes. On particularly busy nights, delivery times may stretch longer than expected, which staff usually acknowledge upfront. I’ve found ordering a bit earlier solves most of that. Still, the overall experience remains dependable, and that reliability is what keeps people coming back. Menu variety, accessible locations, and consistently positive reviews all point to a diner that understands its role in the community and sticks to what it does best.

  • I really enjoyed coming into this pizza place and observing the employees working here. The employees knew people by name, really personable with customers and the gentlemen who was helping at the cash register attended the counter and washed his hands after every time he went to and from the oven. My mom works as a nurse, I work in dentistry & my husband is very OCD about hand washing. I felt like the flow here was better than a lot of other businesses and standard hygiene was taken serious here. Kudos to the place! Great team! (Left this review before we got our pizza but I’m sure it’s delicious)

  • It's a Figaro pizza place. Small inside but tolerable. People were pleasant and my pizza didn't take to long. The ranch is good.

  • Pizza is good, quality pizza. Also priced reasonably as high quality pizza these days is expensive. This location does not have indoor dining which is too bad.

  • My family and I order from figaros alot. We havnt had it for a couple months but we decided it was way to hot to cook anything so pizza it is. Tonight the pizza was just so mouth watering. And I usually always get garlic butter and this time I forgot to, it did not need it. Im serious! This pizza was so stinking good. I also think they have a new girl and she did very well!! My husband and I have tried abbys and pizza palace but they don't compare to figaros pizza. And it fits my budget. Thank you so much figaros!
